Chiranjeevi's Vishwambara Team Silent Amid Release Speculation

Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming film Vishwambara has become a focal point of discussion in Tollywood, as the production team remains silent on its release date despite mounting speculation. Known for his consistent box office appeal, Chiranjeevi is simultaneously gearing up for another project, Kaaka, which is officially slated for a Sankranthi 2027 theatrical release.

Vishwambara, produced by UV Creations, has been described as the most delayed film in Chiranjeevi's career. The film, a socio-fantasy drama featuring Trisha as the female lead and music by Keeravani, has completed most of its post-production work. Reports indicate that Amazon Prime, which recently secured the digital rights, is urging the makers to release Vishwambara on January 9, 2027. However, with Kaaka locked for a January 13 release, this has led to confusion and speculation about whether Vishwambara will be postponed to summer 2027 or even advanced to a crowded November or December slot.

Industry insiders point out that, given the film's significant budget, Vishwambara would benefit from a solo release window, ideally during a holiday period to maximize box office returns. Despite these considerations and ongoing rumors, the production team has not issued any official statement regarding the release plan, fueling further debate among fans and on social media.

Earlier coverage noted that Vishwambara completed shooting nearly two years ago but faced setbacks due to extensive VFX work. As of now, the team continues to keep their plans under wraps, leaving the Telugu film community waiting for a definitive announcement.
