Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited socio-fantasy film Vishwambhara has been the talk of Tollywood, especially after speculation arose about its release plans. Directed by Vassishta fresh from his blockbuster success with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu this ambitious project has faced several delays, as it was initially slated for a January 2025 release.
The suspense around the film's new release date has only intensified fan curiosity, leading to a surge of social media buzz and wild rumours. One of the most talked-about speculations claimed that Vishwambhara would be released as a two-part saga. However, putting an end to the swirling gossip, director Vassishta responded with characteristic wit, stating, “Oh, is it?”, thus making it clear there are no such plans.
The film boasts a star-studded cast, with Trisha as the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi and Kunal Kapoor stepping in as the antagonist. Supporting roles are filled by talents like Aashika Ranganath, Ramya Pasupuleti, Esha Chawla, and Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri. The legendary MM Keeravaani is composing the music, promising an enchanting soundscape, while production is handled by the renowned UV Creations.
With director Vassishta’s clarification, fans can now focus on the grandeur and spectacle that Vishwambhara promises to deliver when it finally arrives in theatres. The industry keenly awaits an official announcement on the new release date.
