Deekshit Shetty Leads KJQ, A Tribute to Director KK's Vision

Deekshit Shetty took center stage in the Telugu action film KJQ – King Jackie Queen, a project that drew attention not only for its stylish trailer but also for the deep passion of its late director, KK. The film, which also stars Sashi Odela and Yukti Thareja, was completed and released after KK's untimely demise during production, leaving a significant emotional impact on the team and the industry.

At the pre-release event, the atmosphere was charged with emotion as cast and crew reflected on KK's dedication. Mythri Ravi shared his personal connection to the team's grief, saying he understood the pain of loss and urged audiences to support the young team: "audiences should walk into theatres and encourage the young team who delivered a Hollywood range film."

Deekshit Shetty, reflecting on his experience, credited KK's enthusiasm for reigniting his own excitement on set. He described the film as "very stylish, different and unique," and expressed gratitude to producer Sudhakar Cherukuri and the entire crew for ensuring the film's completion and release.

Longtime friend and filmmaker Sampath Nandi recalled KK's two-decade-long dream to make KJQ, encouraging viewers to honor his memory by watching the film in theatres from 7th August. Srikanth Odela also highlighted the importance of remembering KK's passion, especially as his own brother made his debut in the film.

KJQ stands as a testament to KK's vision, with the team and supporters rallying to ensure his dream reached audiences.
