Harshith Reddy and Smeha Meghamalai's latest romantic drama, Deewana, has made headlines with its bold move in ticket pricing, aiming to bring more moviegoers to theatres. The film, directed by Sreekanth Sangishetty, has already received a warm response from critics since its release.
Director Sreekanth Sangishetty, who is steadily gaining recognition for his fresh storytelling, leads a cast that also includes seasoned actors Naresh and Jhansi. The production is handled by Arha Media, with Vasudev Koppineni and Sridevi Karyampudi backing the project, and Eshwar Chand providing the musical score. Notably, Geetha Arts and Allu Aravind have presented the film, adding an extra layer of credibility.
In a move that has attracted appreciation, the team has fixed ticket prices at ₹105 for PVR screens and ₹100 for single screens—far lower than the usual rates. This strategy is designed to make the film more accessible and reach a wider audience, a decision that the makers hope will translate into strong box office numbers. "It makes the movie accessible to a large number of audiences," the team stated, expressing optimism.
With such a consumer-friendly approach and positive initial reviews, all eyes are on how Deewana performs in the coming weeks. Fans and industry watchers alike are keen to see if this pricing strategy sets a new trend in Tollywood releases.
