Dhanush Praises Keerthy Suresh's Dorothy, Calls It a Masterpiece

Dhanush has shared high praise for the upcoming film Dorothy, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and starring Keerthy Suresh, just a day before its theatrical release. Known for his discerning taste and recent acclaimed performances, Dhanush took to social media to call Dorothy "a masterpiece from Karthik Subbaraj. Bold and poignant. Raw and intense. Every actor has performed brilliantly. Our maestro Ilaiyaraaja sir’s score will blow your mind away. Rudhrathandavam from Isaignani. Best wishes to my dear friend Karthik Subbaraj and the entire team on the release Tom. God bless."

Dorothy, an independent period drama, first caught attention during its premiere at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival. The film is backed by Sikhya Entertainment and Jio Studios, with Sananth and Rishikanth joining Keerthy Suresh in key roles. Karthik Subbaraj, known for his bold storytelling, brings his signature style to this project, while music legend Ilaiyaraaja provides the score, which Dhanush described as mind-blowing.

The anticipation around Dorothy has grown significantly following Dhanush’s endorsement. Social media buzz has intensified, with fans eager to see Keerthy Suresh in a challenging role under Subbaraj’s direction. Earlier this week, it was reported that Dorothy received an 'A' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, with a runtime of 2 hours and 26 minutes, adding to the intrigue surrounding its content and tone.

With its official release set for tomorrow, Dorothy is poised to make an impact, bolstered by strong word-of-mouth and notable industry support.
