Dil Raju Dreams Sets Ambitious 2027 Slate With Newcomers and Global Shoots

Dil Raju’s production house, Dil Raju Dreams (DRD), is gearing up for a landmark year in 2027 with a diverse lineup focused on fresh talent and innovative storytelling. Following a period of strategic recalibration, the veteran producer is currently overseeing major projects like Vijay Deverakonda’s 'Rowdy Janardhan', Devi Sri Prasad’s musical venture 'Yellamma', and Ashish’s energetic film 'Dethadi', all of which are in active production and expected to release soon.

Reflecting his commitment to nurturing new voices, Dil Raju revealed that DRD’s primary goal is to back content-driven films featuring young and debutant filmmakers. “We are planning to release six small films in 2027 that are made on DRD. We are introducing more and more debutants. We formed a new team to listen to scripts and finalize the concepts,” Dil Raju stated, highlighting the evolving creative process at the banner.

Adding to the excitement, some of these upcoming projects will have international flair, with a couple of small films set to be shot entirely in the USA. The producer also shared that pre-production is already underway for these ventures. Furthermore, DRD is in advanced discussions with a corporate giant, aiming to co-produce five to six films per year from 2027, ensuring a robust and sustained content pipeline.
