Dulquer Salmaan's 'Aakasamlo Oka Tara' Sets Record With ₹60 Cr OTT Deal

Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming Telugu film 'Aakasamlo Oka Tara' has already made headlines even before its theatrical release, thanks to a record-breaking digital rights deal. The Malayalam star, who has found significant success in Telugu cinema recently, will next be seen in this film directed by Pavan Sadineni. The movie is scheduled to hit theatres on November 20, 2026.

Backed by leading production houses Swapna Cinema and Geetha Arts, 'Aakasamlo Oka Tara' has managed to sell its digital streaming rights for a remarkable ₹60 crores. This figure covers all language versions, allowing the producers—Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam—to recover their entire investment ahead of the film’s release. According to reports, any revenue from the theatrical run will add directly to the profits for the makers.

The recently released teaser has generated positive buzz, with many noting its promising visuals and engaging tone. Satvika Veeravalli stars opposite Dulquer Salmaan, adding further anticipation among fans. While social media reactions to the teaser have been upbeat, industry circles are particularly impressed by the film’s pre-release business, which sets a new benchmark for Telugu cinema’s digital rights market.

In addition to 'Aakasamlo Oka Tara', Dulquer Salmaan has wrapped up shooting for another project titled 'Sri Sri', which is slated for a theatrical release on December 3, 2026. With back-to-back releases lined up, Dulquer continues to strengthen his presence in Telugu cinema.
