Hrithik Roshan Joins Rajinikanth in Jailer 2; Nelson Eyes NTR, Kamal Haasan Project

Hrithik Roshan is all set to share the screen with Rajinikanth in the much-awaited sequel, Jailer 2. This marks a remarkable reunion for the duo, who last acted together in Bhagwaan Dada nearly four decades ago. The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced on a grand scale by Sun Pictures, is racing towards a Diwali release, heightening anticipation among fans.

After a widespread search for a top actor for a pivotal cameo, the makers initially approached Shah Rukh Khan, but he was unable to participate due to other commitments. According to sources, Hrithik Roshan has now given the green light. He will join the team in Chennai for a look test and shoot his scenes on June 22nd and 23rd, adding further star power to the project. Most of the film's shoot is already wrapped up, with only Hrithik's portions pending.

Meanwhile, director Nelson Dilipkumar is not slowing down. With Jailer 2's post-production underway, he is also working on two highly-anticipated scripts: one for Tollywood superstar NTR and another for a Tamil multi-starrer featuring both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. As per industry chatter, if NTR commits to another film with Trivikram after Dragon, Nelson is expected to proceed with the Rajinikanth-Kamal Haasan collaboration first, pushing the NTR project to 2028.

Movie buffs can expect an official announcement about Nelson's next directorial soon, while Jailer 2 promises to light up the box office this Diwali.
