Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu showered high praise on Ram Charan’s much-awaited rural sports drama, Peddi, calling it a “Global Mega Sixer” during the film’s grand pre-release celebration in Vijayawada. The event, marked by festive energy, built significant anticipation among fans as the film nears its worldwide release on June 4, with premieres set for June 3.
Jagapathi Babu, who plays a pivotal and unique role in Peddi, described the project as a rare opportunity that comes once in several years for an actor. He expressed deep satisfaction at sharing the screen with Ram Charan, lauding Charan’s versatility and the pride he brings to his legendary father, Chiranjeevi. Babu said, "I am glad to have worked with such world class talents like AR Rahman," and credited director Buchi Babu Sana for his vision and Rathnavelu for his exceptional cinematography.
Ram Charan, meanwhile, called Peddi a deeply personal and emotional journey, likening its impact to milestones like Magadheera and RRR. He thanked the team, including producer Venkata Satish Kilaru, for their uncompromising commitment.
