Ghattamaneni Jaya Krishna, who entered Tollywood with the film Srinivasa Mangapuram under the direction of Ajay Bhupathi, is now at a career crossroads after his debut failed to make an impact at the box office. Produced by C Ashwini Dutt and Gemini Kiran, the film was expected to launch Jaya Krishna into the spotlight, but it did not meet commercial expectations.
Despite the setback, Jaya Krishna remains in the news as leading Telugu production houses show interest in shaping his next steps. Mythri Movie Makers is currently searching for a suitable script to back his second film. According to reports, the project is still in the planning stages and may be officially confirmed in the coming year.
Meanwhile, AK Entertainments, led by Anil Sunkara, is also in discussions to produce Jaya Krishna's third film. Talks are underway with director Ram Abbaraju, known for his work on Samajavaragamana. Abbaraju is presently busy with Sree Vishnu's Family Pack, which is scheduled for a Sankranthi 2027 release, indicating that any collaboration with Jaya Krishna would follow after that.
Jaya Krishna is actively listening to new scripts and is reportedly keen on lining up multiple projects to regain momentum in his career. While there is no official announcement yet about his next film, industry circles are closely watching his choices as he looks to establish himself in Telugu cinema.
