Srinivasa Mangapuram promises strong emotions and unique twists, not a typical love story

Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, grandson of legendary actor Krishna and nephew of Mahesh Babu, is stepping into Telugu cinema with his debut film, Srinivasa Mangapuram. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi and presented by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, the film also marks the Telugu debut of Rasha Thadani, daughter of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon. Veteran actor Dr Mohan Babu plays the antagonist, while the project is produced by P Kiran.

Reflecting on his entry into films, Jaya Krishna shared that his passion for acting began in his teenage years, leading him to train in Mumbai, Pondicherry, and New York before returning to pursue roles in Telugu cinema. He credited Gemini Kiran for introducing him to director Ajay Bhupathi, whose script for Srinivasa Mangapuram convinced him to make this project his launchpad. "I decided to make my debut with a good character and script," he explained.

Family support has been a cornerstone of Jaya Krishna's journey. He revealed that Mahesh Babu not only guided him throughout the process but also watched the film and appreciated his performance, especially the action sequences and songs. "He said I looked completely different on screen," Jaya Krishna recalled. The young actor also expressed gratitude for being launched by Vyjayanthi Movies, noting the legacy connection as Mahesh Babu was also introduced by the same banner.

Describing the film, Jaya Krishna emphasized that Srinivasa Mangapuram is far from a formulaic romance. "This isn’t a template love story. The emotions are very strong, and the twists will be unique," he said. He also acknowledged the expectations from Ghattamaneni fans, stating that their support motivates him to choose meaningful scripts and deliver his best on screen.
