Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel's upcoming action spectacle, tentatively titled Dragon, has officially been postponed, creating a wave of disappointment among eager fans. The star-director duo, celebrated for their high-octane entertainers and box office successes like KGF and Salaar, were initially set to bring 'Dragon' to cinemas on June 25, 2026.

However, the production teams Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts—have now confirmed the film will hit screens a full year later, on June 11, 2027. The delay is due to significant portions of the shoot still pending, as per official updates. Jr NTR took to social media to announce, "HIS REIGN… HIS SOIL…JUNE 11, 2027… IT IS…. #NtrNeel," unveiling a poster that showcases him in a rugged, warrior-like avatar.

The cast features Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, with Anil Kapoor and Bimal Oberoi in pivotal roles, and music by Ravi Basrur. There's ongoing buzz about the film's antagonist after Tovino Thomas reportedly exited the project, fueling further speculation online. Fans expressed their disappointment over the delay, though excitement is building for the first official glimpse, set to release on May 20, 2026, coinciding with Jr NTR's birthday.

With shooting underway at Ramoji Film City and anticipation at a high, viewers can look forward to more updates as the film's team prepares to reveal its title and much-awaited visuals next year.
