Kamakshi Bhaskarla and Agadha Team Launch Publicity Jathara at Balkampet Temple

Kamakshi Bhaskarla, along with the team of the upcoming film Agadha, marked the start of their publicity campaign with a devotional event at the Balkampet Yellamma Pochamma Temple in Hyderabad. This temple, a prominent spiritual site in Telangana, was chosen for its significance as the team offered bonalu rituals on Sunday, seeking blessings ahead of the film's release.

The event saw Kamakshi Bhaskarla in a traditional avatar, joined by director M.S. Raju, producer Kasi Vishalakshi Balusu, presenter Ajay KR, lead actor Sravan Reddy, and executive producer NVN Subbaraju. The team’s presence at the temple underscored their intent to blend spiritual sentiment with cinematic promotion, a move that resonated with the local audience.

Producer Kasi Vishalakshi Balusu highlighted the positive response to Agadha’s posters and teaser, describing the film as a fresh entry in the divine mystic thriller genre. Director M.S. Raju shared that the story draws partial inspiration from the goddess, stating, “Beginning promotions with her blessings made the occasion special.” He also revealed that Agadha is being mounted on a grand scale, with a trailer set to be released soon.

Agadha features Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Sravan Reddy, Ulka Gupta, Jovika Vijay Kumar, and Sijju in key roles. The film is written and directed by M.S. Raju, with music by Rakesh Venkatapuram and cinematography by Nani Chamidishetty. The editing is handled by Junaid Siddiqui, and the executive producer is N.V.N. Subbaraju, with additional screenplay by Chaitanya Vegi. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 14, 2026.
