Karthi's 31st film, directed by Mohan Raja, is generating significant interest as reports suggest Trisha Krishnan could be cast as the female lead. This project marks the first collaboration between Karthi and Mohan Raja, and is described as a commercial family entertainer in its early development phase. While the makers have not officially confirmed the casting, industry chatter indicates Trisha is being considered for the role.
According to sources, Nayanthara is currently the primary choice for the female lead, but if her schedule does not align, Trisha may step in. Both actresses are major stars in Kollywood, making the final casting a point of keen speculation among fans. The pairing of Karthi and Trisha previously drew attention in Mani Ratnam's two-part epic 'Ponniyin Selvan', where their on-screen chemistry as Vallavarayan Vandiyadevan and Kundavai was widely noted.
