Karthik Aaryan’s much-anticipated film Naagzilla has officially shifted its release date and will now hit cinemas on 12 February 2027. The announcement puts an end to speculation after the film, initially slated for an August 2026 premiere, was quietly rescheduled by the makers.

Directed by Mrigadeep Singh Lamba, who is best known for the popular Fukrey series, Naagzilla marks a fresh move into creature comedy, drawing inspiration from Indian folklore. The film is being positioned as a major theatrical offering from Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films, with Karan Johar, Mahaveer Jain, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and Neetu M Jain all attached as producers.

A new poster released by the makers teases the film’s humour and fantastical elements, featuring Kartik Aaryan facing a gigantic serpent. The launch was accompanied by a playful caption: “Insanon wali picharein toh bahut dekh li, ab dekho naagon wali pichchar! #Naagzilla - Naag lok ka pehla kaand… Funnn phailaane aa raha hai - Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand.” The unique tone of the announcement has already stirred curiosity on social media, with fans eager to see Kartik in an entirely new avatar.

With its fresh release date set just ahead of Valentine’s week, all eyes will be on Naagzilla’s next wave of promos and updates as the film’s grand theatrical debut approaches.
