Krishna Kamal and Maahi Sri take centre stage in the newly released teaser for ‘Jo Jo’, a Telugu film written and directed by Kiran Jay Kumar. The teaser, titled Caution 1, transports viewers to the rugged landscapes of Jonnagiri, where a group of fortune-seekers chase after diamonds rumoured to appear after rainfall. The film is presented by Deva Katta, with production handled by Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni under the Vijayam banner.

Krishna Kamal plays Seenu, a penniless dreamer, while Maahi Sri appears as Supraja, a bold young woman joining the quest for a life-altering diamond. The teaser stands out for its unfiltered rural humour, with eccentric characters and sharp comic moments. One memorable scene features a man’s awkward attempt to woo a woman, only for their diamond discovery to be dismissed as a mere stone by an examiner. Undeterred, one character insists their luck will turn, prompting Supraja’s blunt retort: “Clean your own ass!” This line captures the film’s irreverent tone and the raw, unscripted comedy that emerges from the characters’ interactions.

The teaser has caught the attention of industry figures, with filmmaker and actor Tharun Bhascker describing it as an “excellent teaser.” Social media buzz has grown around the film’s unique blend of rural setting, romantic misadventures, and comedic timing. ‘Jo Jo’ promises a romantic comedy where the pursuit of fortune collides with unpredictable rural antics, offering audiences a fresh take on the genre.
