Krithi Shetty's latest release, Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), has unfortunately added to her string of box office disappointments, dampening hopes for her much-needed comeback in both the Telugu and Tamil film industries.

After making an explosive debut with Uppena and following it up with the hit Shyam Singha Roy, Krithi quickly became a sought-after talent. However, subsequent projects such as Macherla Niyojakavargam, Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, The Warriorr, Custody, and Manamey failed to resonate with audiences, derailing her momentum. Despite her charm and potential, Krithi has struggled to find scripts that click with the public.

LIK, a bilingual venture featuring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead, was seen as a pivotal opportunity for Krithi. However, as per industry sources, the film has turned out to be a disaster at the box office, further narrowing her chances in Telugu cinema. "With a series of flops, no filmmaker is considering Krithi Shetty for their upcoming movies," reports indicate. Presently, she has no confirmed Telugu projects except a possible role in an Anil Ravipudi entertainer, where she is expected to be paired with Nandamuri Kalyanram. This film is reportedly aiming for a Sankranthi 2027 release.

Krithi also has the Tamil film Genie in the pipeline. Both these upcoming projects are critical for her to regain lost ground. Fans and industry watchers alike will be keenly observing her next moves, hoping she can script a turnaround.
