Kriti Sanon to Lead Maddock Films' Ambitious New Horror Project

Kriti Sanon, fresh from her appearance in Cocktail 2, is gearing up to headline a large-scale horror film produced by Maddock Films. This marks her ninth collaboration with the production house, known for its ventures into supernatural themes. The upcoming project is described as a standalone horror entertainer, distinct from Maddock Films' existing supernatural franchise.

According to a recent report in Variety India, Kriti Sanon will be seen in a new avatar, taking on a role that allows her to experiment with her craft in ways she hasn't before. While she has previously mentioned in interviews that horror isn't her preferred genre to watch, she expressed interest in taking on this challenge because it pushes her boundaries as an actor.

Pre-production activities for the film are currently underway, with the makers reportedly planning the project on a significant scale. The film is expected to showcase high production values and offer Kriti a platform to display a different side of her acting abilities.

Maddock Films, already recognized for backing successful supernatural stories, is investing in this standalone horror film, signaling their continued commitment to genre cinema. As of now, no additional cast or director details have been revealed. The announcement has sparked curiosity among fans eager to see Kriti Sanon step into the horror space for the first time in her career.
