Mahesh Babu’s Debut Date Inspires Release Plan for Srinivasa Mangapuram

Jaya Krishna is set to step into Tollywood with his debut film, Srinivasa Mangapuram, and the makers are planning a special release date that holds sentimental value for the Ghattamaneni family. The team, led by director Ajay Bhupathi of RX 100 fame, is aiming for a July 30th release—mirroring the debut date of superstar Mahesh Babu’s first film, Rajakumarudu, which hit screens on the same day in 1999.

The film, produced by legendary C Ashwini Dutt alongside Gemini Kiran, promises a vibrant rural backdrop intertwined with a heartfelt love story. With the shooting schedule nearing completion by May, excitement among fans has grown after a recently released teaser garnered a positive response online. The film also features Rasha Tadani as the female lead and the seasoned Mohan Babu in a pivotal role, while music is composed by the acclaimed GV Prakash Kumar.

C Ashwini Dutt, who also produced both Rajakumarudu and Srinivasa Mangapuram, is reportedly keen on sticking to the symbolic July 30th date. According to sources, "He is strict on his stand to release Srinivasa Mangapuram on July 30th."
