Mahesh Babu’s much-awaited film Varanasi, helmed by iconic director SS Rajamouli, has landed in the spotlight after a major scene featuring the star leaked online. The film, which is racing toward its grand theatrical release on April 7, 2027, had a pivotal Ganga river sequence surface despite tight security measures.

Rajamouli, known for his blockbuster streak, is orchestrating high-octane action set pieces for this ambitious project. The leaked footage reportedly showcases Mahesh Babu, who plays Rudra and Lord Ram, performing daring stunts in a speedboat amidst a vibrant Ganges backdrop. The film’s ensemble cast also includes Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha, Prakash Raj as Sivudu, and Priyanka Chopra as Mandakini, promising a pan-Indian cinematic experience.
