Satyadev’s much-anticipated psychological drama, Rao Bahadur, has officially rescheduled its release to July 3, 2026. The film, presented by Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar under the GMB Entertainment banner, has been drawing attention with its vintage flair and intriguing promos.
Director Venkatesh Maha, known for his unconventional storytelling, teams up here with Satyadev, who steps into a commanding, aged avatar for the lead role. The film’s teaser and the soulful single "O Sundari" have already generated a strong buzz among fans and on social media, with the track’s old-world charm especially praised.
Originally planned for a June 5 release, the makers opted to avoid a direct box office clash with Ram Charan’s high-profile film Peddi, which is set to hit screens on June 4. Announcing the new date, the team unveiled fresh posters that showcase Satyadev’s powerful transformation and hint at Rao Bahadur’s layered narrative. Deepa Thomas stars as the female lead, with Vikas Muppala, Bala Parasar, Anand Bharathi, Pranay Vaka, Kunal Kaushik, and Master Kiran in key roles. The film is jointly produced by Sri Chakraa Entertainments, A+S Movies, and Mahayana Motion Pictures.
With the new date locked, the Rao Bahadur team plans to ramp up promotions and unveil more surprises, promising an intense cinematic experience for audiences this July.
