SS Rajamouli's ambitious action-adventure Varanasi, starring Mahesh Babu, is once again in the spotlight after new videos from the film's shoot surfaced online. Despite the production team's ongoing efforts to prevent leaks, several clips showing an action sequence involving Mahesh Babu were widely shared across social media platforms on Wednesday. The visuals, though brief and of low quality, have revealed key moments from the film before any official promotional material has been released.

This is not the first time the Varanasi team has faced such challenges. Since filming began, multiple set photos and videos—including scenes featuring Mahesh Babu—have appeared online. Director SS Rajamouli, known for his meticulous approach and recent successes, had already implemented strict security, including a ban on mobile phones and non-disclosure agreements for cast and crew. Yet, footage continues to leak from various shooting schedules, causing ongoing frustration for the makers.

Varanasi, which also features Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is being produced on a grand scale and shot in the IMAX format. The production house has been keen to keep the film's story, visuals, and character designs confidential until the official marketing campaign begins.
