Mahesh Babu Wraps Major Filming for Varanasi, Final Schedule Pending

Mahesh Babu, known for his consistent box office presence, has finished shooting the majority of his portions for the upcoming period action drama 'Varanasi'. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film is set against a mythological backdrop and has been in production for over two years. The project, produced by KL Narayana with music by Keeravani, is scheduled for release on April 7th.

According to recent updates, Mahesh Babu has completed all major scenes except for his introduction episode, which will be filmed at a later date. The actor has also started dubbing for his role, indicating that the film is moving swiftly towards completion. Priyanka Chopra, who plays a key role, has also wrapped up her principal shooting, while significant portions featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran have been filmed.

Director Rajamouli is reportedly focused on finishing the remaining shoot and post-production work without delay. He is also planning an extensive promotional campaign for the film, aiming to reach audiences worldwide. Talks are ongoing with an international studio regarding the English-language release of 'Varanasi', which could expand the film's global footprint.

Earlier this year, the team resumed work on 'Varanasi' after a summer break, signaling the film's entry into its final production phase. As the release date approaches, anticipation is high among fans, especially with Rajamouli at the helm and Mahesh Babu leading the cast.
