Mohanlal Steps Away from Ajith’s Dare Devil Over Remuneration Issues

Mohanlal, who was widely speculated to join Ajith Kumar in the upcoming film Dare Devil, is no longer part of the project. After the success of Good Bad Ugly, Ajith teamed up once again with director Adhik Ravichandran for his 64th film, which was officially announced recently. Initial reports had suggested that Mohanlal would play the role of Ajith’s friend, raising expectations among fans across South India.

However, according to the latest buzz in Kollywood, Mohanlal exited the film due to remuneration disagreements. Industry sources indicate that the Malayalam superstar was in talks for a key supporting role, but negotiations did not materialize as hoped. The production, led by Shalini Ajithkumar under the Brave Hearts Production banner, is now reportedly searching for a replacement for the pivotal role.

Dare Devil is set to commence shooting in September, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Director Adhik Ravichandran has expressed confidence that the film will appeal to a broad audience, stating that Dare Devil is designed to connect with all sections of viewers.
