M. S. Raju’s Agadha Receives Strong Support at Pre-Release Event

M. S. Raju’s supernatural drama 'Agadha' drew significant attention during its pre-release event, with several prominent figures from the Telugu film industry voicing their support for the project. The event, held ahead of the film’s worldwide release on August 14, 2023, highlighted the film’s unique approach to the horror genre and showcased the enthusiasm of the cast and crew.

Veteran producer Shyam Prasad Reddy, celebrated for 'Arundhathi', commended Raju’s vision and described 'Agadha' as a film that surpasses typical horror boundaries. He singled out Kamakshi Bhaskarla’s performance, noting her impact reminded him of Anushka’s early days. Director Sai Rajesh, reflecting on his experience as Raju’s assistant, called Raju a “kingmaker” and praised the film’s screenplay after viewing its trailer and the 'Origin of Agadha'.

Producer SKN highlighted the film’s blend of horror with other elements, appreciating the efforts of Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Shravan Reddy, and the production team. Filmmaker B. Gopal recalled Raju’s knack for identifying powerful stories and predicted that 'Agadha' could outshine some of Raju’s previous hits. Lagadapati Sridhar expressed hope that the film would mark a strong comeback for Raju as a director.

Director Anil Viswanath, familiar with the project since its inception, praised the film’s climax and technical aspects, while Kamakshi Bhaskarla and Shravan Reddy expressed gratitude for their roles. Producer Kasi Visalakshi Balusu noted the positive response to the teaser and trailer, crediting Raju’s dedication on set.
