Nag Ashwin, the acclaimed producer behind projects like 'Mahanati', has expressed his admiration for director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao as their upcoming film 'Sing Geetham' readies for its theatrical release on June 11. Ashwin, who played a key role throughout the production, highlighted the unique creative process that defined this collaboration.

With a filmmaking journey spanning nearly nine months of screenplay development and extensive rehearsals, Ashwin shared that Singeetham’s spontaneous and evolving approach kept the team energised and open to new ideas. He often worked closely with the legendary director, not just as a producer but assisting as an "assistant director" to help bring the vision to life.

'Sing Geetham' stands out for featuring a cast and crew mostly comprised of newcomers. "Singeetham always enjoys working with a new generation of talent. Not just the actors, even most of the technicians are newcomers. He genuinely gets excited about working with fresh talent," Ashwin revealed.

A Tamil version is already planned, though Ashwin pointed out that the film’s musical-dialogue format makes adaptation to other languages a complex task. As anticipation builds for the release, fans can look forward to a film that celebrates fearless storytelling and the enduring creativity of Indian cinema’s visionaries.
