Naga Chaitanya is set to capture audiences in a completely new light with his upcoming film Vrushakarma, where he takes on the role of a treasure hunter named Arjun. This marks a significant genre shift for Chaitanya following his recent work in Thandel, and the buzz surrounding his transformation is palpable.

Director Karthik Varma Dandu, known for the blockbuster success of Virupaksha, helms the project with a screenplay by Sukumar. Chaitanya revealed that he drew inspiration from Hollywood films to prepare for the role, as such characters are rare in Indian cinema. "I looked at a lot of Hollywood films for reference because Indian cinema has very few treasure hunter roles," the actor shared. According to him, the team has completed 90% of the shoot and is eyeing a release between August and October this year.

To embody Arjun, Chaitanya underwent four months of intensive training to master the rugged physicality the character demands. The film promises a blend of mythology and action, enhanced by substantial VFX work, with Chaitanya often performing on green screens. Produced by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra in association with Sukumar Writings, Vrushakarma also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead and Sparsh Shrivastava in a pivotal role. The technical crew boasts Ajaneesh Loknath on music and Ragul Dharuman as cinematographer.

With social media buzzing about the first look and fans eager for promo content, anticipation is high for Vrushakarma’s release. Audiences can look forward to a unique blend of mythology, action, and supernatural elements, with the makers promising to unveil more details soon.
