At the pre-release event, Nagarjuna explained the motivation behind his involvement. He reflected on his career, noting that he had often worked on projects centered around Andhra culture. The shift toward a Telangana-focused story, he revealed, was sparked by a conversation with senior politician Bhatti Vikramarka. According to Nagarjuna, "The idea was first suggested to me by Bhatti Vikramarka. That conversation planted a seed in my mind, and since then, I was looking for the right story to bring Telangana’s essence to the big screen. When I heard Pallaburusu’s script, I okayed it right away."
