Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming action entertainer, tentatively titled NBK111, is now being planned for a grand Christmas release on December 24, 2026. The film, helmed by director Gopichand Malineni, has been generating significant excitement, especially after a special birthday glimpse featuring Balakrishna’s younger look and high-octane sequences was unveiled to strong fan appreciation.

NBK111 also features Manchu Manoj and Kajal Aggarwal in key roles, with music by S Thaman. The background score for the initial teaser has already struck a chord with audiences, further fueling anticipation for the film’s soundtrack. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, the project is being mounted on a lavish scale, with the makers keen to deliver a stylish and mass-appealing action spectacle.

Initially, the team had considered a Dussehra release, but adjustments were made after Balakrishna sustained a minor injury during a demanding action sequence. Following surgery, doctors advised the veteran actor to take adequate rest before resuming physically intensive scenes. The production schedule has been realigned to prioritize his recovery, with the team emphasizing that "ample time for completion without compromising on scale" is the new focus, as per reports.

The decision to aim for a Christmas holiday window is seen as strategic, offering a festive period that could maximize box office potential. An official confirmation of the revised release date is expected once regular shooting resumes, according to the production team. Earlier this year, Balakrishna was actively filming NBK111, underscoring his commitment to the project despite recent setbacks.
