Nandamuri Balakrishna's NBK112: Tamil Star Arya in Talks for Cop Role

Nandamuri Balakrishna is gearing up for his next big project, NBK112, directed by Koratala Siva. The film, described as a political drama with strong action elements, has already generated buzz due to its star-studded team and anticipated storyline. Balakrishna, who was recently seen working on his 111th film with Gopichand Malineni, faced a setback after sustaining an injury, which led to the postponement of NBK112's shoot to next year.

In a new development, Tamil actor Arya has been approached for a significant role in NBK112. According to reports, Arya is in talks to portray a powerful police officer in the film. While discussions are ongoing, Arya has not yet confirmed his participation. Arya was last seen by Telugu audiences in Venkatesh’s 'Saindhav' and is currently involved in several Tamil projects.

Director Koratala Siva is currently finalizing the script and assembling the cast and crew for NBK112. The film is being produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Sudhakar Mikkilineni, both known for backing large-scale Telugu productions. The project is targeting a Christmas release in 2027, with shooting expected to begin after Balakrishna completes his commitments to Gopichand Malineni’s film.

Earlier this year, it was reported that NBK112 would be a mass drama with a strong social message, adding to the anticipation among fans. The combination of Balakrishna and Koratala Siva, along with the potential addition of Arya, has set expectations high for this upcoming Telugu political action drama.
