Natural Star Nani, known for his consistent box office appeal, had planned to join fans at RTC X Roads in Hyderabad for the premiere of his latest film, The Paradise. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film's release has been eagerly awaited, especially after a promotional campaign that was impacted by post-production delays earlier this month.
Ahead of tonight's premiere, Nani formally sought permission from Telangana authorities to attend a show at the iconic RTC X Roads theatre. In his request, Nani expressed his desire to "experience the film with our audience." Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy responded, asking Nani to submit an official application to the local police so that security and crowd management could be properly evaluated. The CM highlighted that Ganesh idol immersions are underway, making the area particularly crowded and raising concerns about safety, especially given a previous stampede incident at the same location.
Nani assured officials that the team would "respect and abide by the final decision of the police department," and confirmed that the visit would be skipped if there were any safety concerns. He later posted on social media, "We completely understand the importance of public safety, especially with the Ganesh Nimarjanam arrangements. We would not want to add any burden to the police department or cause any inconvenience…"
With premiere shows for The Paradise scheduled from 9:30 PM across the Telugu states, anticipation remains high as the film finally reaches audiences tonight.
