Natural Star Nani has addressed the status of the much-discussed film with Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Srikanth Odela, confirming that the project is not moving forward for now. Nani, who recently collaborated with Odela on The Paradise, revealed in a recent interview that the Chiranjeevi–Odela film will not take off any time soon.

The Paradise, which marked the second collaboration between Nani and Srikanth Odela after Dasara, faced significant production delays and budget overruns. While the film managed to perform well in the Nizam region, its reception elsewhere was underwhelming, drawing criticism for both its execution and financial management. According to Nani, "Chiranjeevi sir’s film will not take off soon. The Paradise got delayed and Chiranjeevi sir has several commitments in hand. We took too long to complete The Paradise. We don’t know about the film for now and we haven’t sat on this discussion recently."

The project, which was to be produced by Nani and Sudhakar Cherukuri, had generated excitement when first announced, with Chiranjeevi reportedly enthusiastic about the idea. However, concerns over Srikanth Odela's handling of The Paradise's budget and the extended timeline have contributed to the shelving of the new venture.

Earlier this year, delays on The Paradise had already impacted Nani's schedule, causing him to lose out on other projects. Despite these setbacks, Nani is set to begin shooting for Bloody Romeo, directed by Sujeeth, with production scheduled to start in November.
