'Yesha Nagula Katta Meeda' Sets Social Media on Fire

Nani's The Paradise has landed its viral moment. The film's second single is a reworked take on the much-loved Telangana folk number "Yesha Nagula Katta Meeda," and it puts Keerthy Suresh back on screen beside Nani for a full-throttle dance number.

The track got its first outing live at Anirudh Ravichander's Dallas concert, with the digital drop following on August 29. It barely needed the wait. Phone-shot clips from the venue were racing across timelines within minutes, and by the time the official version arrived, the hook line was already everywhere — reels, memes, status videos, dance covers.

Keerthy set the mood herself with a cheeky post: "Vaadi Jadalni Muttukunte Vaadiki Sarrruumantadi…", paired with a photo of her tugging at Nani's jadalu. Fans ran with it.

Kasarla Shyam wrote the lyrics, Jangi Reddy and Prabhas sang, and Anirudh's arrangement gives the folk tune a thumping mass upgrade. The original had already been simmering since Ram Miryala performed it at a public event, and demand for it in the album had been building ever since.

The Paradise releases in theatres on September 24, with Srikanth Odela directing.
