Nani’s latest Telugu film, The Paradise, has completed its censor formalities with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) handing over the certificate today. Known for his recent string of diverse roles, Nani teams up with director Srikanth Odela for this project, which is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner.

The film underwent a total of 21 changes as recommended by the CBFC. These modifications include toning down certain violent visuals, muting cuss words, deleting select dialogues, and removing a tattoo with foul language from the protagonist’s hand. Additionally, the board required the insertion of statutory warnings at specific points in the film.

The Paradise has been awarded an A certificate, with its final runtime locked at 174 minutes (2 hours and 54 minutes). This is slightly longer than the originally planned 2 hours and 49 minutes, as the edits and insertions led to a small increase in duration. Social media users have voiced disappointment over the number of changes, with some discussions online questioning the extent of the censorship.

Earlier this year, reports highlighted that The Paradise would be the longest film in Nani’s career, and the final runtime confirms this milestone. The collaboration between Nani and Srikanth Odela has attracted attention since its announcement, with fans closely following every update. The production house SLV Cinemas continues its association with major Telugu projects, further boosting anticipation for the film’s release.
