Nani’s The Paradise and Venkatesh’s Aadarsha Kutumbam are among the latest high-profile films to be distributed by Mythri Movie Makers, marking a significant shift for the production house as it cements its place in the Telugu film distribution sector. Nani, known for his consistent box office appeal, and Venkatesh, a veteran with a strong fan base, bring added prominence to Mythri’s growing slate.
After initially producing a series of successful films, Mythri Movie Makers ventured into distribution in the Nizam region by releasing their own projects. The company then expanded to distributing films from other banners, investing in single-screen theatres and upgrading their facilities. This strategic move allowed Mythri to establish a stronghold in Nizam, and soon after, the company began acquiring Telugu theatrical rights for Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam films. Outside Nizam, these films are handled by their regular distribution partners.
Recent releases under Mythri’s distribution include Hrudayam Murali, Chennai Love Story, Vishwanath and Sons, Epic, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, and Mandaadi, all of which have contributed to their growing reputation. As of July, Mythri Distributions had secured the Nizam theatrical rights for Nani’s The Paradise at a record price, reflecting the confidence producers have in Mythri’s transparent business practices.
The company is now in discussions with several top producers, and upcoming releases through Mythri in Nizam include Sundeep Kishan’s Sigma and Nayanthara’s Mahasakthi. Their rapid rise has made Mythri Movie Distributors a dominant force in both the Nizam and Andhra Pradesh regions, with industry sources attributing their success to clear dealings and strategic investments.
