NBK112 Needs Double NBK's Biggest Grosser to Break Even

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much-awaited NBK112, helmed by acclaimed director Koratala Siva, has been launched in Amaravati with grand fanfare. The film stands out for its staggering budget, as producer Sudhakar Cherukuri revealed that it is being mounted on a scale of ₹150–200 crore, making it one of the most expensive projects in Balakrishna’s career. Given this ambitious budget, trade circles are already buzzing that NBK112 must collect nearly double the amount of Balakrishna’s highest previous grosser to reach break-even, considering the star’s current box office market.

Recently, Balakrishna has been riding high on commercial successes and is presently shooting for NBK111 with Gopichand Malineni. The collaboration with Koratala Siva, known for his pan-India appeal and blockbuster hits, has fueled excitement among fans and industry insiders alike.

The film’s official launch event saw the presence of Andhra Pradesh ministers Nara Lokesh and Kandula Durgesh, adding political star power to the occasion. As per the makers, filming is scheduled to commence in August 2026, with a grand Summer 2027 release planned, setting the stage for a major box office clash.
