Nikhil Siddhartha Wraps Swayambhu Shoot, Promises Top-Tier VFX Quality

Nikhil Siddhartha’s ambitious period action drama Swayambhu has officially completed its extensive 175-day shooting schedule, marking a major milestone for the pan-Indian project. Known for his recent string of high-concept films, Nikhil is now steering the team through a meticulous post-production phase, with a particular focus on delivering world-class computer graphics and visual effects.

Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, Swayambhu is set in 985 AD and weaves together threads of Indian history and mythology. The film features Samyuktha in a prominent warrior role and Nabha Natesh in a strong character, adding further depth to the ensemble cast. According to the makers, the project boasts over 2,500 CG shots, underscoring the technical ambition behind the film.

Nikhil Siddhartha addressed the film’s post-production process, stating, “We have finished shooting but we do not want to compromise on the post production work. Swayamabhu requires a lot of CG and VFX work, and we are working relentlessly. You know today’s audiences judge every scene, we don’t want to give any cheap quality and are making sure to international quality as they are lot of expectations.”

The production team is taking extra time to ensure the visual effects meet international standards, reflecting the high expectations surrounding Swayambhu. The film, produced on a grand scale, is currently deep in post-production, with an official release date expected to be announced soon. The anticipation continues to build as fans await the next update from the makers.
