Nithiin to Begin New Film with Debutant Directors Somu and Narri

After a year away from the sets, Nithiin is set to make a grand comeback with an upcoming film directed by newcomers Somu and Narri. The star, who faced a rough patch with consecutive flops, last appeared in 'Thammudu' in 2025, and fans have been eager to see what he chooses next.

This new venture will be produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the prominent Sithara Entertainments banner, known for backing several successful Telugu projects. The formal launch is scheduled for May 4th in Hyderabad, promising a glittering event that marks Nithiin’s return to the industry. As per reports, the team is wrapping up pre-production, with regular shooting slated to commence from May 6th. The film features Ritika Nayak as the female lead, and several top technicians have been roped in, raising expectations for a fresh cinematic experience.

Industry insiders note that Nithiin has also lined up another major project, this time with director VI Anand and producer Srinivasaa Chitturi. That film is expected to go on floors shortly, keeping Nithiin in the spotlight for the months ahead.
