NTR is all set to ignite the screen in the upcoming pan-Indian action extravaganza "Dragon," helmed by blockbuster director Prashanth Neel. The makers have officially selected Sri Lanka as the next vibrant backdrop, where high-octane action sequences featuring NTR will be shot next month. Ever since the project was announced, excitement has soared among fans, especially after the recently released glimpse received widespread appreciation online.
Prashanth Neel, known for his kinetic storytelling in recent blockbusters, is collaborating with NTR for the first time, promising a period drama laced with intense action and emotion. In "Dragon," NTR takes on the formidable role of Luger—a ruthless, beast-like character embroiled in the turbulent world of the international opium trade. The Sri Lankan schedule is set to cover a significant portion of the film, with the core team dedicating a lengthy stretch to these crucial scenes.
Joining NTR is Rukmini Vasanth, who has committed substantial dates as the leading lady, while seasoned actors Anil Kapoor and Biju Menon bring additional gravitas to the ensemble. Music for "Dragon" is composed by Ravi Basrur, adding to the film's grand scale. The production, jointly backed by NTR Arts and Mythri Movie Makers, is shaping up as one of the most anticipated big-budget ventures in Indian cinema.
With the Sri Lankan action schedule soon underway and the film targeting a grand release on June 11, 2027, fans can expect further thrilling updates from the team in the coming months.
