NTR to Resume 'Dragon' Shoot After Injury, June 2027 Release On Track

NTR's upcoming film 'Dragon' is set to resume shooting after the actor's recent shoulder injury temporarily halted production. Directed by Prashanth Neel, who previously delivered blockbusters in the action genre, 'Dragon' is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is made on a record budget.

The production team paused filming while NTR recovered, but sources confirm that he is now in recovery mode and ready to return to set within the next two weeks. The makers are determined to complete the shoot without further major interruptions, aiming to wrap up principal photography before February 2027. According to Mythri Movie Makers, "the film will hit the screens in June 2027 as per the plan," and there is no change to the announced release date.

Rukmini Vasanth stars as the female lead, with Anil Kapoor, Biju Menon, and Ashutosh Rana playing key roles. The technical crew includes several members from the core team that worked with Prashanth Neel on the 'KGF' franchise, raising expectations among fans for another visually striking action spectacle.

Earlier this year, reports highlighted that NTR was on a six-week recovery break due to his injury. Despite these setbacks, the production house has assured fans that there will be no postponement.
