NTR Set to Resume 'Dragon' Shoot in October After Injury Recovery

Jr NTR, who has been on a six-week break following a shoulder injury sustained during the filming of his upcoming Telugu action drama 'Dragon', is preparing to return to the sets in the first week of October. The film is directed by Prashanth Neel, known for his meticulous approach to filmmaking, and features Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead. Production is being handled by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with NTR Arts.

After undergoing surgery, NTR was advised by doctors to rest, which led to a temporary pause in his participation on set. During his recovery, Prashanth Neel continued with other schedules that did not require NTR's presence, ensuring that the film's progress was not significantly hampered. According to the latest updates, "the shoot of the film is pushed to October which involves NTR. The top actor will return back to the sets in the first week of October as per the update."

Despite the setback, the production team has reconfirmed that 'Dragon' is still slated for a June 2027 release. The makers are reportedly planning the remaining schedules carefully to make up for lost time, with an emphasis on completing the shoot efficiently. As per reports, Prashanth Neel is expected to dedicate considerable time to post-production, a hallmark of his previous projects.

Earlier coverage in August noted that NTR was set to resume shooting in two weeks, following his surgery and prescribed rest. The current update now provides a concrete timeline for his return, aligning with the production's commitment to their original release plan.
