Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is treading carefully with his upcoming films after the underwhelming response to his recent release, Ustaad Bhagat Singh. The film, which failed to pull crowds to theatres, has reportedly left the actor-turned-politician re-evaluating his strategy for future projects.
Having wrapped up his current acting assignments, Pawan Kalyan is now closely scrutinizing his next moves in cinema. His planned collaboration with director Surendar Reddy has been delayed, as the star was not satisfied with the script and has requested several modifications. Surendar Reddy’s team is now working from Amaravati to deliver a revised draft that aligns with Pawan Kalyan’s expectations. According to sources, "Pawan Kalyan will not take up the project until he is completely convinced with the final draft."
Apart from this film, Pawan Kalyan’s only other confirmed commitment is OG 2, set to be directed by Sujeeth. While a few scripts are still being discussed, the actor has made it clear he will not sign new films until he is fully confident about their quality. He also has projects in the pipeline with renowned banners like People Media Factory, Mythri Movie Makers, and Ram Talluri, but is prioritizing strong scripts over quick announcements.
Fans now await news of Pawan Kalyan’s official next project, hoping his comeback will mark a resounding return to form on the big screen.
