Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated action drama, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, is gearing up for its digital debut after a turbulent journey at the box office. The film, directed by Harish Shankar, is set to premiere on Netflix from April 16, 2026, reaching audiences in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Coming off their blockbuster collaboration on Gabbar Singh, the duo of Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar generated immense pre-release excitement for Ustaad Bhagat Singh. However, the film’s theatrical run, which began on March 19, 2026 alongside Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge, faced stiff competition. Despite strong initial buzz, it garnered ₹34.75 crore on opening day but ultimately fell short of the ₹100 crore milestone, with negative reviews dampening its prospects.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film boasts a star-studded lineup including Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna in pivotal roles, with Parthiban as the main antagonist. The supporting cast features KS Ravikumar, Gautami, Rao Ramesh, and Srinath Maganti, while Devi Sri Prasad composed the songs and Thaman provided the background score. Netflix announced the streaming release on social media, sparking renewed interest among fans who missed the theatrical run.
With its pan-Indian digital release, the makers hope Ustaad Bhagat Singh will find a warmer reception on OTT. All eyes are now on April 16, as audiences await to see if the film can win hearts online.
