Prabhas is all set to make a powerful comeback with his upcoming film Fauji, which is now aiming for a grand Dasara release. After the underwhelming response to his previous outing Raja Saab, all eyes are on Fauji as fans eagerly anticipate a return to form for the pan-India star.
Helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi, whose last film Sita Ramam was widely appreciated, Fauji is touted as a visually rich period drama set against the intense pre-Independence British era of the 1940s. Prabhas will be seen in a striking new avatar as a soldier, with the film boasting elaborate sets and a stellar ensemble cast including Imanvi Ismail, Jayapradha, Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Chaitra J Achar. Mythri Movie Makers, under the leadership of CEO Cherry, has invested heavily to bring this ambitious vision to life.
Giving an update on the film’s progress, CEO Cherry revealed, “80% of the shoot is complete, with only three major action blocks remaining to be filmed on Prabhas.” The production team is planning to launch Fauji in October, aligning with the festive Dasara season for maximum impact. Social media is abuzz with excitement as fans discuss Prabhas’ transformative look and the promise of emotional, intense performances.
Once Fauji wraps up, Prabhas is expected to focus on his other big-ticket projects, Spirit and the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD. The anticipation around Fauji continues to grow as fans await more updates and the official release date announcement.
