Prabhas’ upcoming romantic war action drama Fauzi is officially slated to arrive in cinemas on December 3, 2026. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Prabhas alongside Imanvi, with Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Bhanu Chander, and Jayaprada in pivotal roles. After the actor’s recent pan-Indian outings, expectations are high for this multilingual spectacle.
The Hindi release calendar has seen a significant shake-up, intensifying the competition for Fauzi. According to recent reports, Ajay Devgn’s Ranger has been postponed to 2027, opening the door for Golmaal 5—the next installment in one of Bollywood’s most successful comedy franchises, directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Ajay Devgn—to take over the December 4, 2026 slot. This move means Fauzi will now go head-to-head with Golmaal 5 just a day apart.
Adding to the crowded release window, Akshay Kumar is also set to appear in an untitled film directed by Anees Bazmee, scheduled for the first week of December. While each film targets a different audience segment, their simultaneous releases are expected to create one of the most closely watched box office battles of the year in the Hindi market. The reshuffle has sparked considerable industry interest, with many noting that the contest for screens and audience attention will be fierce.
