Prabhas, still riding high as a pan-India superstar, is powering up for his next big-screen outing with the much-hyped Fauzi. As per sources, the industry is buzzing about Netflix reportedly snapping up the South Indian streaming rights for a jaw-dropping ₹180 crore—a figure that’s making even seasoned trade pundits sit up and take notice. It’s not just the digital space that’s heating up: AA Films has reportedly clinched the Hindi theatrical rights for at least ₹60 crore, underlining the film’s immense commercial pull.
While Fauzi’s South Indian digital future seems sealed, the Hindi OTT rights are still open, and insiders say there’s a fierce bidding war brewing. What’s confirmed is that the project, bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, is commanding a mammoth budget of around ₹700 crore and has already locked in lucrative deals for its audio and satellite rights.
The excitement isn't limited to business alone. Filming of the high-octane interval blocks has kicked off, with Prabhas returning to set alongside debutante Imanvi and a powerhouse supporting cast including Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada, Mithun Chakraborty, and Chaitra J. Achar. With Vishal Chandrasekhar handling the score, industry grapevine has it that Fauzi is poised to be a game-changer across platforms. As December 2026 approaches, all eyes remain firmly fixed on this big-ticket spectacle.
