Prabhas Yet to Rejoin Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit; Release Date Uncertain

Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s collaboration for Spirit has been a major talking point in Telugu cinema circles. The project, produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, began filming with Prabhas nearly two months ago, completing about 50 days of shooting. However, after this initial schedule, Prabhas shifted focus to Fauzi, another of his upcoming films, to finish his portions there before returning to Spirit.

Despite expectations that Prabhas would resume Spirit’s next schedule in September, the actor has yet to rejoin the sets. The current leg of Spirit’s shoot is underway in Mumbai, but Prabhas remains absent, fueling speculation among fans and on social media about when he will be back. The delay has heightened anticipation, as Prabhas’s presence is central to the film’s progress.

Fauzi, which was originally slated for a December 3, 2026 release, has now been postponed to 2027. This development has led to further speculation that Spirit’s previously announced release date of March 5, 2027 could also be pushed back, though no official confirmation has been given regarding a change.

Spirit features Vivek Oberoi in a key antagonist role, with music composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. Earlier coverage in July noted that around 40 percent of the film had been completed, highlighting steady progress at that stage. As of now, fans are closely watching for updates on Prabhas’s return and any potential changes to Spirit’s release timeline.
