Prabhas’ Spirit Nears Completion: Major Shoot Update Revealed

Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit is making steady progress, with the production team now eyeing the final phase of shooting. Prabhas, who continues to ride high after a string of pan-India projects, is set to take on the role of a ruthless cop in this action-packed drama.

According to the latest update, Spirit has already completed around 50 days of filming. The next major schedule is expected to begin in October 2026, with the makers estimating that another 60 to 65 working days will be needed to wrap up the shoot once Prabhas is fully available. This brings the total shoot duration to approximately 110-120 working days, or nearly four months in total.

The film, produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, features Triptii Dimri as the female lead, alongside Kanchana and Vivek Oberoi in key roles. Music is being composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, adding to the anticipation around the project. The production houses have locked in March 5, 2027, as the official release date, setting the stage for a major theatrical debut.

Earlier this year, reports highlighted that Prabhas was gearing up for an extended filming schedule for Spirit, reflecting the scale and ambition of the project. In July, it was noted that about 40 percent of the shoot had been completed, underscoring the team’s consistent progress.

With the final leg of filming approaching, fans are closely watching for further updates as Spirit heads towards its release next year.
