Pradeep Ranganathan, known for his string of blockbuster successes and innovative storytelling, has taken a daring step with his latest venture, Alpha Unit, under his new production house PR Show. Hot on the heels of both a triumphant streak and a recent setback with 'LIK: Love Insurance Kompany,' Pradeep is showing his resilience and inventive spirit by introducing a never-seen-before concept to South Indian cinema.

The buzzworthy project features Mamitha Baiju in the lead, fresh from her acclaimed roles in 'Premalu' and 'Dude.' She is joined by director-turned-actor Ashwath Marimuthu, along with Shivaji Sontineni, Swasika, and debutante Anamika Mahi. What truly sets this film apart is its direction by a six-member collective, The Alpha Unit Vishal TR, Yash V, Naren Saoda, Chanakkiyan R, Dhanush Kumar, and Ilamparithi marking a first in the industry. Pradeep himself has penned the story, ensuring his signature touch remains at the core.

The announcement video, which shows Mamitha's character in a gripping face-off with Ashwath’s police officer, has sparked excitement across social media. As per reports, this female-led action entertainer is poised to break new ground, with Sai Abhyankkar composing the music, Pradeep E Ragav editing, and Dinesh Purushothaman on cinematography.
