Premalu Hindi Version Pulled from JioHotstar Ahead of Prem Keetanu Release

Veer Pahariya and Aafiya Sayed are set to headline the upcoming Hindi remake of the Mollywood blockbuster Premalu, titled Prem Keetanu. The original Malayalam film, which found success not just in Kerala but across India, had its Hindi-dubbed version available on JioHotstar until recently. However, viewers have noticed that the Hindi version has now been taken down from the platform.

This move comes as the makers prepare for the theatrical release of Prem Keetanu, scheduled for October 2, 2026. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the remake is produced by Gaurav Verma under Avanika Films in association with Phars Films, while Bhavana Studios holds the official rights. According to reports, the removal of the Hindi-dubbed Premalu is a strategic decision to prevent potential audiences from watching the original before the remake hits theatres.
